What are the Jewish High Holidays, and why have they held such profound meaning for generations?
Join us for a virtual* Lunch & Learn exploring Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shemini Ateretz, and Simchat Torah one of the most significant seasons of the Jewish calendar. We’ll learn about their history, meaning, traditions, customs, and rituals, while also exploring the deeper spiritual and philosophical ideas at their heart.
The High Holidays invite us to pause and take stock—to reflect on the year that has passed, consider how we have shown up in the world, acknowledge where we may have fallen short, and imagine who we want to become in the year ahead. Their themes of reflection, accountability, forgiveness, renewal, and connection offer an opportunity to engage with questions that are both deeply Jewish and universally human.
