About The Event
This Lunch & Learn will explore the Jewish observance of the “Three Weeks,” the period between the fasts of the 17th of Tammuz and Tisha B’Av that commemorates destruction, displacement, and communal tragedy in Jewish history. Traditionally a time of mourning and reflection, the Three Weeks asks difficult questions about societal division, moral failure, and the consequences of injustice left unaddressed.

Through discussion and learning, we invite participants curiosities around:
How communities remember historical trauma and resilience
The role of lament, reflection, and truth-telling in social change
